“A man whose childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, spied on U.S. military installations in Hawaii for the Soviet Union, edited a communist newspaper, authored pornographic novels, and wrote poetry in praise of Joseph Stalin. ”

You can rarely prove that something did NOT happen, which is why the rules of evidence place the burden of proof upon the accuser. There is no evidence that Davis spied for anyone, edited a communist newspaper, or wrote poetry in praise of Stalin. There IS evidence, however, to refute the claim that he wrote poetry in praise of Stalin. According to the same source (“The New Red Negro”) cited by AIM’s Cliff Kincaid in his masterpiece of deception, “Obama’s Communist Mentor”:

“Frank Marshall Davis wrote poetry attacking Stalin by name, which appeared in his collections “I Am The American Negro” (1937) and “47th Street Poems” (1948)” (see page 48 of “The New Red Negro” at

The closest to truth in your post regarding Davis is the pornography claim, although it also misrepresents Davis. He wrote ONE porno novel, not “novels” as claimed.
