Col. Allen West and his wife were slated to be honored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Florida as part of a fundraising event. Col. West is running for Congress (CLICK HERE) but was also committed to raising $10,000 as part of this charitable effort. His Democratic Party opponent, Congressman Ron Klein, called some of the big donors to CF and had them threaten to withdraw major support for the charity if West was honored. West withdrew from the event, because the charity meant more to him than politics. What kind of people target a charity like CF to promote their sick political agenda? Oh, that would be DEMOCRATS.
